It is there, I can feel it. From inside outside or from outside to inside? Maybe it was a little bit exaggerated, but sometimes we need to exaggerate to see actually what we are doing. Art is often times an exaggeration. It is a good method to draw the attention. Bunt one in one, it was a good movie. It can make even a grown up man to cry. The story in itself is a simple one. Two young musicians fell in love, love at first site. After a night adventure she becomes pregnant, but they don’t see each other again. To protect her and her future carieer, after she gave birth, the father says that the baby couldn’t make it. The boy grows up in an orphanage but deep inside him he feel that he was loved. He can’t wait anymore for them to find him, so he decides to find them…. through music. The presence of Robin Williams is exceptional. He plays the role of “Wizard”, the one who attracts talented children and makes a living out of their playing on streets. At times he is mean, but he is a good man who actually “saves” the children. He gives a new name to the new found talent – August Rush – but the boy is not like all the other boys. His goal is to become a great musician and to find his parents. It would have been a tragedy for this movie not to have a happy end. The music is very powerful and the story of the genius boy makes you think it is a fairy tale. It the whole drama of this childs live, there is an optimistc view. The whole concept of orphanage, abandoned children, street children is presented in a different light. They are not abandoned, they are nedded. The movie is predictable, but it has it’s beauty. Worth seeing it.
